From A to Recovery — Substance Use Edition (Digital Download)

From A to Recovery is a letter-based category card game built for addiction counseling sessions — individual sessions and groups alike. Clients pick a letter, then name something in each category on the card that starts with that letter. It is simple, low-pressure, and surprisingly deep.

This edition includes 6 thematic decks covering the core clinical territory you actually work in. Each card holds 10 categories designed to open conversation without interrogating — the kind of questions that help clients notice what they already know about themselves.

Two play modes are built in. Mode 1 is a no-scoring, one-answer-at-a-time format for individual work and trauma-informed groups. Mode 2 adds light competition for established groups who respond well to gamification. Use whichever fits the room.

The included session notepad gives clients something to take home — a page of their own coping skills, support people, and strengths in their own handwriting. Small thing, meaningful thing.
