From A to Recovery — Kids Edition (Digital Download)

From A to Recovery: Kids Edition is a letter-based category card game built for child therapy sessions with kids ages 8–12. Clients pick a letter, then name something in each category on the card that starts with that letter. It is playful, low-pressure, and meets kids where they are — in the space between feelings and words.

Each of the 6 decks pairs a clinical theme with an illustrated animal character peeking from the card edge. Cards keep categories short — 5 per card — to keep rounds quick and engagement high. The portrait-oriented notepads with purple sidebars match the Kids Edition look and feel.

The Kids Edition works three ways: clinician-facilitated in session, parent-and-child together, or independently for more verbal children ages 10 and up. Two play modes — a celebratory no-scoring mode for most sessions, and a friendly competition mode for kids who handle competition well.

The included notepad gives kids something to take home — a page with their own answers they can show a parent or tuck into a folder. Parents get a natural conversation starter without having to ask the same "how was therapy?" question twice.
